Step 2

Making your gift stretch.

Once HMRC receives your request the taxman will also contribute and this could be between 20% -  50% more and at no cost to you. Making your gift go further.

Step 3

Benefits of regular giving.

Your regular donations will therefore help us to plan for and maximise your investment in the future of children you support on our projects.

Payroll Giving for Businesses…

It is easy for you as an employer to set up a Payroll Giving scheme in your workplace. If you join the scheme, it demonstrates to your employees that you take social responsibility seriously and you care about their charitable causes, which is close to their hearts and their faiths.

As soon as you join the scheme you will receive a Payroll Giving Quality Mark, which acknowledges and enhances the corporate commitment that you have made to a charitable cause by facilitating Payroll Giving for your employees.Subject to the take up of the scheme you may be eligible for a Bronze, Silver, Gold and now a Platinum Quality Mark Award, which was introduced from April 2012.

The mark can be used on company brochures and letters and it makes a statement about your corporate values to your competitors. Payroll Giving provides us a regular income and enables us to deliver new projects and maintain those that we have completed such as Zingwezingwe in Tanzania.

For your employees, it also gives them a conduit through which they can earn the opportunity to double their rewards both spiritually and physically by donating through Payroll Giving because HMRC will also contribute. Depending on your employees tax bracket the gift could double at no cost to them.

Get Involved

Implementing Payroll Giving for your employees is simple, since there are no extra tax forms and it is simply a matter for your payroll to make a pre-tax deduction from your employees pay. You can join the Payroll Scheme by registering with HM Revenue & Customs’ approved Payroll Giving Agent.

You can start to deduct your employees’ gift from their salaries every month and pass to HMRC, which in turn will ensure that the final sum reaches us via the Payroll Giving Agent. For more information about advice on how your business can get involved, click here.
